PENNY RUG QUILT BLOCK of THE MONTH

We have been working with the American Quilter's Society to bring back some traditional American pieced quilt designs in the form of
wool penny rugs.

This series of 20 quilt blocks will include many different styles of applique, reflecting designs from the late 1800's to the 1940's. All of the penny rug blocks will measure 12" x 12" and can be displayed individually as penny rugs or wall hangings - OR - they can be pieced together to make an heirloom quality bed rug.
